Q6 e-tron

By Doug Clayton, EVGrok Staff Writer

The 2026 Audi Q6 e-tron represents a significant leap forward for the brand's electric vehicle lineup, debuting the co-developed Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture. This midsize luxury SUV slots between the Q4 e-tron and the flagship Q8 e-tron, offering a refined balance of performance and everyday usability. The PPE platform enables an advanced 800-volt electrical system, allowing for exceptional charging speeds and improved overall efficiency compared to Audi's previous EV offerings.

Under the floor lies a 100 kWh battery pack that powers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system in the standard quattro model, delivering up to 456 horsepower with launch control. This setup propels the SUV from zero to sixty in roughly 4.9 seconds. The 800-volt architecture allows the Q6 e-tron to DC fast charge at up to 270 kW, replenishing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes under ideal conditions.

Inside, the Q6 e-tron introduces Audi's new Digital Stage interior design language. The cabin is dominated by a curved panoramic display that houses an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch MMI touch display, complemented by an optional 10.9-inch screen for the front passenger. Premium materials, spacious seating for five, and a dedicated front trunk round out the highly practical and luxurious interior.
