Embodying the blend of traditional heritage with futuristic design, the all-electric BMW i5 M60 xDrive Sedan offers a unique fusion of sporty dynamics and the comfortable ride of a larger sedan. This high-powered model features a potent dual-motor setup, with one electric motor on the rear axle and another on the front, together delivering a hefty 590 hp. The i5 M60 xDrive's agile handling, exceptional levels of cornering grip, and robust powertrain all contribute to an exhilarating driving experience. BMW claims that this power-packed sedan can surge from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds, a performance claim that seems entirely plausible based on test drives.

The M60 xDrive edition comes furnished with active anti-roll bars, a sporty suspension tune, wider tires, and rear-wheel steering, all integrated to instill a more athletic feel in the car. It's underpinned by an 84.3-kWh battery pack which provides an estimated range of 256 miles per charge. Remarkably, this battery pack can connect to DC fast-charging stations and is capable of charging from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes when plugged into such a station. Moreover, BMW has pledged to provide three years of free 30-minute charging sessions at Electrify America charging stations with every new i5 M60 xDrive purchase.

The interior of the i5 M60 xDrive is as capacious and luxurious as that of the conventional gasoline-powered 5-series, with the thoughtful design of the battery ensuring no intrusion on cabin space. BMW is debuting a new faux-leather upholstery called Veganza in the i5 M60 xDrive, alongside the traditional leather options. Heated and ventilated front seats with massage functions come as standard features, enhancing the overall comfort. An optional set of glass interior controls can further elevate the cabin's elegant touch. Key safety features include standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist, and an available adaptive cruise control with a hands-free driving mode, ensuring that BMW's commitment to luxury, performance, and safety is met in the i5 M60 xDrive.
