Lotus Evija Overview
The British car manufacturer Lotus Cars is set to produce a limited number of their electric sports car, the Lotus Evija. This vehicle was unveiled in July 2019 and marks the first electric car to be created and produced by the company. The Evija, also known by its codenames "Type 130" and "Omega", will have a production run of only 130 units.
Its power source is a 70 kilowatt-hour battery pack, equipped with electric motors supplied by Integral Powertrain. According to Lotus, the Evija has the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in under 3 seconds, reach a speed of 0 to 300 km/h (190 mph) in 9.1 seconds, and attain a top speed of 349 km/h (217 mph), limited by its speed governor.
